With facilities required for over 800 workers on a very small parcel of land, the resulting structure delivered 10kpa site facilities, 2m walkways, 4 levels and engineered safety barriers. The entire solution was installed on a crushed rock base which required no concrete foundations.
Challenge
The challenge was to build a temporary site compound for over 800 workers on unlevelled crushed rock ground. The solution needed to be engineered for stability, robustness and limited space. The solution needed to include lunchrooms, changerooms and toilet facilities.
Impact
Our customer was able to allocate a very little valuable real estate for site accommodation. Facilities were designed over 4 levels and over 800 workers were accommodated in a total footprint of 30m x 16m.
